Parents Forum

Our first Parents Forum was held on Friday 11 March.  During this informal session we asked and you told us:

What you like about the centre.....

• approachable staff - easy to ask for support and advice
• access to 'Messy stuff'
• healthy snack times with variety of fruit
• the semi-structured format of 'Play & Stays'
• time to spend with your child
• the equipment and resources
• Increasing confidence - for both you and your children

What you don't like.....

• when you can't book onto a session if its full
• not knowing people's names
• the kitchen area is too exposed

What next for the centre....

• engage with local students to help 'man' the sessions
• develop some day's out
• a tea-time session
• an additional Messy Play
• a 'terrible two's course
• make the sessions more inclusive (i.e. any news to share during song-time)
• a 'parents' board to share ideas and local information
